About Surgical Robotics Lab

The Surgical Robotics Lab (SRL) is part of the Department of Biomechanical Engineering (Faculty of Engineering Technology) at the University of Twente, The Netherlands.

SRL is led by Prof. Sarthak Misra. We are also part of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Groningen and University Medical Center Groningen. SRL is affiliated with the MESA+ Institute,  Technical Medical (TechMed) Centre, and W J Kolff Institute for Biomedical Engineering and Materials Science.

SRL has a dynamic research agenda, and we consist of a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, clinicians, and industrial collaborators. We focus on developing innovative solutions for a broad range of clinically-relevant challenges.
